Adult faith is formed as we gather, connect and serve. The goal is to build community, facilitate friendships, create a spirit of hospitality, and offer a wonderful menu of study and service opportunities designed for adults to connect with God and with each other.
Our small groups provide inspiration for living and learning through:
- Bible studies
- Daily devotions
- Service projects
- Inspirational speakers
- Educational events
- Giving opportunities
Centering Prayer (Sitting Meditation)
Contact: Laurie Erickson
Thursdays, September through May, 7:00pm, Fireside Room
Prayer involves both speaking to God and listening to God. Centering Prayer is a form of silent prayer in which we quiet our thoughts and listen with open hearts. It's a special time to sit and experience God's presence amid the quiet and supportive fellowship of others. This prayer ministry of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church is open to anyone at any time; you do not need to be a member of Mount Calvary or attend all sessions.

Contact: Andrea Fieldhouse
Monday Morning - 9:00-10:00am, room 207
Continuing on from our People of Purpose study last Lenten season, this is a group of women who gather for many purposes. Although first and foremost is the need to set aside time for and with God, we also learn, laugh, share stories and pray! Our ages and stories vary, but our common bond of faith leads us to grow. Come join our merry adventure!
