Mount Calvary Benevolence Ministry

Our congregation acts as a blessing to others outside the four walls of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church through our Benevolence Ministry. A portion of the amounts collected through our offerings is given to places and people in need of God's love, healing, and care. Through our benevolence dollars, we, as a congregation, support our Lutheran partners, such as the ELCA, Minneapolis Area Synod and Lutheran Social Services. We help care for homeless youth in the Twin Cties through Rezek House. We support Nigerian missionaries in Bali, Nigeria through Project Bali. We also support other nonprofit groups and organizations that are living out Christ's example in the world. We typically give away more than $130,000 per year.
