Mount Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church is a community of faith committed to the faithful proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are located in Excelsior, Minnesota (www.ci.excelsior.mn.us) on the south shore of Lake Minnetonka. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (www.elca.org) and it's local expression, the Minneapolis Area Synod (www.mpls-synod.org).

We are a large suburban congregation that was started in 1930 with 53 adult and 22 child members. Presently, our worship attendance places us among the 20 largest ELCA congregations in the United States and our baptized membership is around 4,000. We offer a variety of worship services on Wednesday evening, Saturday afternoon and Sunday mornings. See the worship section of our website for more information. Our worship, as well as all of our educational, fellowship, and outreach opportunities are open to everyone.

Mount Calvary is a community church that has had a regional impact through outreaches such as the Mount Calvary Preschool, the Mount Calvary Academy of Music, and Kids Against Hunger-West Metro. We also have international impact through companion church relationships around the world, particularly Nigeria, India, and Germany.
